I extend to you a warm and royal welcome to this, the web site of the District Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of South Wales.

To members of our Order, I trust this site will provide you with information on current affairs, the Executive, Meetings, Forms and all matters cryptic throughout the Masonic year. You are aware of course that we encompass three Craft Provinces and this site should help bridge the distance from east to west in terms of communication at least. We hope to update the site on a regular basis so you are promptly apprised of current activities and any significant future event in the District. Indeed, if you feel that you have anything pertinent to contribute to the website or have any comments or enquiries, please contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and the District Grand Recorder will contact you.

If you are not a member of the Order or indeed not a Freemason, please feel free to explore the pages of this site. I trust you will find them interesting and possibly it might even ignite a spark of curiosity, which may lead you to a new understanding of the fraternity in general, and this Order in particular. Whatever may be your interest, I hope you find the contents informative enough to visit us again.

A Training Seminar was held at Penarth Masonic Hall on 28th April 2018 to advise Masons of the other Orders available to them.

The Training Seminar was attended by over 30 Brethren ranging from Brethren who have only just entered Freemasonry to members of a few years standing. They were given details of our Order and pamphlets handed out

Our display was supervised by Moawia Bin-Sufyan, the youngest Companion in the Order of Royal & Select Masters of the District of South Wales.  Companion Moawia provided a personable welcome to prospective Candidates to our Order.
